Ingredients to prepare tasty Traditional Easter Cake Mazurek:

1 and 1/4 cup of wheat flour,
25 grams of margarine,
1 egg yolk,
1/2 cup powdered sugar,
1/2 teaspoon baking powder,
teaspoon finely chopped lemon zest, a handful of candy pineapple,
10 grams of dried fruit (papaya, dried plums, dates, apricots)
3 grams of walnuts,
2 tablespoons peach jam

Recipe to prepare tasty Traditional Easter cake Mazurek:

Sieve the wheat flour with baking powder, add sugar, an egg, yolk, margarine and lemon rind gradually. Make pastry. Then wrap it up with food wrap and place it in the fridge for one hour. Roll out ¾ of the pastry in the shape of rectangle and place it in the baking tin inlaid with the baking paper. Form the remaining pastry into a roll and stick it to edges of the pie. Spread the cake with jam and top it with chopped fruit and walnuts. The cake has to be baked for about 25 minutes in the hot oven.
